WHERE DOES THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE?
It’s your choice! The shoot can take place in your place of work or on location. It depends on what you want. You can have relaxed natural shots, or for the full service, I have a top of the range portable lighting studio.
HOW DO I BOOK?
For headshots just drop me a line or give me a call and I can get you in the calendar.
For branding photography, I offer a 45 minute complementary getting-to-know-you call before you book.
All bookings require £50% deposit to secure the date.
The additional 50% is taken before the images are released.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND HOW SHOULD I DO MY HAIR AND MAKEUP?
As the advert says, you should try to look like you, on a good day. Wear you hair as you usually do.
A ‘clean look’ works best. Avoiding busy patterns and logos (unless that’s your brand) instantly makes you look more professional.
But bring a tie if you would like to try different styles. If you wear glasses all the time, wear them.
When it comes to makeup, again wear what you normally do. However, the camera doesn’t like too much shine. Don’t worry about the odd blemish though, those can be retouched.
CAN YOU ARRANGE A STYLIST AND HAIRDRESSER
Stylists, hairdressers and makeup can be arranged on request.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bring your smile!
As well as that, you could bring a spot of powder to stop facial shine, and a change of clothes if you wish. If you are thinking of going on the beach – bring the right shoes!
WHAT IS YOUR PORTABLE STUDIO AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
My portable studio is from Profoto which have a collection of beautiful lights and light shapers. I have 3 studio lights and a flash. I need about 4 meters x 3 meters space to set up the studio. It takes about an hour to set up the studio.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I GET?
As many as you like. As different shots take time to set up and edit, to give you the best of my time, I charge by hour. Editing time is 50% of the shooting fee.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
You will receive a link to download the images of the proof gallery. From there, you can choose which images you would like me to retouch. As soon as the collection is ready, I will send the images via WeTransfer.
WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING POLICY?
To confirm the date, I ask for a 50% deposit within 24 hours of booking.
If you want to cancel the shoot up to 28 days prior to the date, I can provide a full refund.
Up to 7 days before the shoot, I’m happy to use the deposit against a different date.
Any shoots that are cancelled less than 7 days before the shoot with be subject to no return of the deposit.
